I feel compelled to say something here and I hope that you can hear the sincerity in my words and leave with an understanding of what I am sharing. I have lost so many people in my life to the Angel of Death; from grandparents, and cousins, to young nephews and friends. This last death is so profound for me because I was there.
He came home from work, ate, enjoyed some time with his wife and in a moment it was over.
The memories and pain, the unaccomplished goals and plans to never happen, words that will never be said or heard. All in a moment. A passing second, not a here today and gone tomorrow even though that is a true statement; but in a flash the mere blink of an eye everyone and everything had transformed into something post that blink.
Tell those you love you love them often, forgive those that you have held anger toward, reconnect with someone that is important to you. Swallow the pride and make peace. We are given one opportunity and none of us know how long we have. My nephew had only 14 years, my friend that just passed had 39 years and my grandmother had over 80 and none of them were enough time for those that loved them.
If you can't make amends you can still let them know that you love them. Don't let them go without you knowing that they know and don't you die without having let them know what you really felt.
~Monique

Simply Quotes I found
"Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless--like water.
Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Now water can *flow* or it can *crash*!
Be water, my friend." - Bruce
"Great minds discuss ideas. Average minds discuss events. Small minds discuss people."~Eleanore Roosevelt
"I am the greatest... I said that even before I knew I was." - Muhammad Ali
"Fame is a vapor, popularity an accident, riches take wing, and only character endures." - Horace Greeley
"Educational television should be absolutely forbidden. It can only lead to unreasonable disappointment when your child discovers that the letters of the alphabet do not leap up out of books and dance around with royal-blue chickens." - Fran Lebowitz
